The new tunnel viewed from the Da Nang Administrative Centre |
The tunnel features 2 traffic lanes: one for automobiles and the other for motorbikes.
The entrance to the tunnel |
All types of vehicle, except those over 3.5m-high, are now allowed to use the 40m-long, 7.5m-wide tunnel to travel from the Da Nang Administrative Centre to the intersection of Tran Phu and the western end of the Rong (Dragon) bridge. All the vehicles should follow the traffic signs being placed along Tran Phu.
The exit of the tunnel |
In addition, there are 2 frontage roads, each 7.5m-wide, at both sides of the tunnel, along with 2 pavements up to 3.25m wide.
In detail, the left frontage road allows vehicle users to travel from the Da Nang Administrative Centre towards Bach Bang and the Han River Bridge, whilst the right one allows traffic heading towards the Hue T-junction overpass and the intersection of Tran Phu and the western end of the Rong (Dragon) bridge.
